Proverbs 19:1 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity Than he who is crooked though he be rich.

Proverbs 23:27-28 For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit.
She is like a robber, lying in ambush. She spreads unfaithfulness throughout society.
Proverbs 24:16 for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again,
but the wicked are brought down by calamity.

Despair
It's a very dark world today.
The hobgoblins are out looking for human flesh.
The hangman is counting how many feet of rope he has.
And the vultures are circling above the night sky,
ready to pick the bones off a dead carcass.
The women have an evil look in their eyes,
for they are planning the doom of their men,
so they can dance in the faiery ring the devil
has conjured.
They trip and fall, and merge back into the earth,
so they can sink deep into the abyss for all
eternity.
I try to look into the eyes of the future,
but all I see is blackness, and delusions on what
is to become, or undone.
All I know is that even though I cannot control my fate, and
that it was set for me since I came out of the womb of my mother,
that a part of me needs you.
I cannot say love, for the fountain that springs for me is a selfish
water, that is tainted with greed, anger, loneliness, and despair.
Throughout the ends of the earth I will walk with my burden, with the cross
that they have built for me.
I was groomed to build my own coffin by the time came that I grew no more,
and await my final days, staring into the abyss. Amen.

Proverbs 24:1-2 Do not envy wicked men,
do not desire their company; for their hearts plot violence,
and their lips talk about making trouble.

Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
